Most vitamin D3 supplements are made from lanolin found in sheep's wool; Deva instead sources its cholecalciferol from lichen, giving vegans and vegetarians a plant-based way to reach 5,000 IU (125 mcg) per tablet, 625% of the daily value.
The tablet is built from dicalcium phosphate, cellulose, and vegetable-based tableting aids, with no animal-derived ingredients, and is registered with the Vegan Society.
Deva recommends adults take one tablet daily with food.
