Passion flower, also known as maypop, is a climbing vine native to the southern United States with a long history of traditional use by Native Americans. This cut and sifted herb, sourced from France and Italy, is kosher and non-irradiated with no artificial ingredients.
To prepare as tea, Frontier Co-op suggests steeping 2 teaspoons in 8 oz. of just-boiled water for 5 to 10 minutes. This 1 lb bag is a generous bulk supply for home tea blending.
