Charcoal House Activated Charcoal Powder is a food-grade, NSF and Kosher certified hardwood charcoal powder for topical first aid and DIY remedies.
Made from 100% Eastern American hardwoods, this 5 oz powder is food grade, NSF and Kosher certified, with a neutral pH (6-8) and a mesoporous structure suited to drawing out toxins from the skin.
It's commonly mixed into charcoal poultices, baths, foot soaks, gels, or creams for minor cuts, scrapes, burns, insect bites, and poison ivy. Charcoal House recommends combining the powder with water and a binder like ground flaxseed or psyllium husk to make a paste before applying.
