Meatless scallop-style pieces made from textured vegetable protein in a savory broth, a plant-based pantry staple.

Description

Loma Linda's Skallops are a vegetable and grain-based stand-in for scallops, made from textured vegetable protein (wheat gluten and soy protein concentrate) packed in a simple savory broth. The 40 oz family-size can is shelf-stable and ready to drain and use in your favorite recipes.

Because they're built from wheat gluten and soy, they're not gluten-free, but they offer a straightforward way to bring a scallop-like texture to plant-based cooking.

Ingredients

Skallops: Textured Vegetable Protein (Wheat Gluten, Soy Protein Concentrate, Water for Hydration). Broth: Water, Salt, Monosodium Glutamate, L-Lysine Monohydrochloride. Contains Soy and Wheat.
