Pomona’s Universal Pectin is a low-methoxyl citrus pectin activated by calcium, letting you make jams and jellies with little to no added sugar.
Unlike standard pectin, Pomona's Universal Pectin doesn't rely on sugar to set. It's a 100% low-methoxyl citrus pectin with no added sugar, dextrose, or preservatives, activated instead by the calcium powder packet included in the box.
Each 1.1 oz box comes with pectin powder, calcium powder, and recipes, and makes 2 to 4 batches of jam or jelly sweetened to taste with sugar, honey, agave, or other sweeteners. It's vegan, gluten free, and non-GMO, and keeps indefinitely stored cool and dry.
