NOW's Ylang Ylang oil is steam distilled from the fresh flowers of the Ylang-Ylang tree (Cananga odorata), which grows in the rainforests of Indonesia, the Philippines, and other Pacific islands.
It's sold as a 100% pure essential oil, meant to be diluted in a carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed, olive, or almond before use on skin, rather than applied directly.
